This was our 7th year staying at blue wave. Rooms are clean. Location is nice, 2 blocks from the boardwalk. Pool gets full quick, morning and night swims are best! Food is good as well. Towels were a bit questionable for me but easily replaced. Great price for the 6 day stay!
Good pricing for a short notice trip I had to take recently. My daughter had a national dance competition to go to and we only found out a week and a half prior to booking to find a place. Very clean rooms, they have a fridge, a stove, plates and silverware and air conditioning. The bathroom was on the small side, but it was clean and served its purpose. The staff was friendly as well. We paid extra for early check-in, but didn't get checked in until a little later than expected. But they took half of the early check-in free off for us and I will more than likely be booking with them in the future; which will probably be every year for the next few years due to the national dance competition being held down there yearly in July. Only have to cross 2 streets, and you're right in the dead center of the boardwalk. There are some stores located close so if you need something, you'll be able to find it if needed. They have a nice little pool and a place to buy food extremely close to the rooms for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.
We come here once a year usually In October and we love it here. It's super close to all the activities.
Was here for the Cruizin car show weekend. The room smelled, there were stains on carpet and on bed spreads. It was close to everything, we were only there to sleep. Price was good and the staff was nice.
I booked this hotel on a whim for a girls weekend. The staff was friendly and the rooms and bedding were clean. The complimentary grab and go breakfast was perfect for us. We were a little disappointed that the pool wasn’t ready for the season in June. The bathrooms were also really tiny. There is a little fridge and microwave in the room, but no ice machine on the property. This hotel is in a great location and only a short walk to the boardwalk. We’ll be back, and will stay here again.
We stayed with our kids and we loved it. The outdoor pool is open 9am to 9pm and the kids stayed in the pool most the time. It is a lovely family ran business. Their food is really good and fresh made. Needs a little updating but it was affordable and we would definitely stay again! Thank you for a great time!
Small but affordable rooms. I don't come to the beach to sit in my room, though, so it works for us. The pool area is smaller but still nice to have a pool. The hotel is located only 2 blocks from the boardwalk, and there are public bathrooms right as you enter the boardwalk from 9th Ave.
We had great experience staying at this motel. It was reasonable price. 5 mins to boardwalk. The room was quite big with two queen beds and comfy sofa, coffee maker with 1 coffee bag, two small TVs mounted to wall, a closet and nice clean bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. Overall the room was very clean. Parking 1 vehicle per room.
